I'm surprised the Umpires were not out celebrating with them on the mound.
The Rays Scouts have a new agenda next year. Forget getting guys who can play.
They need to recruit Umpires on the payroll who can't seem to keep the same strike zone from one pitch to the next. Or even better all of a sudden loses their ability to see 2 feet in front of them when a player tags a guy out at third base. I got one better Maybe they should recruit an umpire who doesen't know what a Balk is.
This isn't a bash at the Philly's, but I can't help to think some of those games may have ended differently had the Umpires called it straight doen the middle.
