can i add plastic pellets, k1, bioballs, something along those lines to a phosban reactor to create a biological fluidized bed? or what would be my best option for a biological fluidized bed filter? any info would be much appreciated.. thank you!!

I don't see why you couldn't. I put activated charcoal in mine for two reasons. The charcoal helps in water quality and it also acts as a bio filter. I probably don't have enough flow to mine at the moment. because it never really stirs around very much. I just T'ed into the return line off one of the pumps.
