I have a 230gallon Peacock bass tank. It has been set up with fish since the end of December. Diatom algae came on strong about 7 weeks ago. My Phosphate is at 3-4mg/l. I run phosguard but because tap water has Phosphate and silicate can't get it to come down. I am looking at getting a RO/DI unit. Are they worth the expense and what should I use to treat the water during water changes? Thanks
