I put all of my new fish in my 3o gallon Quarantine tank for one to two weeks for observation ( i don't trust my LFS lol). He's in there right now with a blue ram I bought him with at the same time . However, when the week is up he will be going in a 55 with my albino bristle nose pleco.
thats cool man. Good luck. Oscars are high maitenance fish. Stay on top of your water parameters.
Very nice, he/she will be a beast in no time. A Oscar in a 55 will require frequent water changes.
He's a good looking Oscar. Take excellent care of him and he'll bring you many hours of enjoyment. Here's wishing luck to both of you and your blue ram.
