Has anyone here ever set up a small tank specifically for picture taking?

It's hard to take pictures of fish zooming around, so I figure I'd try placing them in a 5 gallon or so for a few minutes of shooting.

If you have one, what did you do with the background and lighting to help out with the pictures?

I think moving a fish to a 5g tank jsut to take a picture would stress the fish out pretty badly, making its colors fade and thus making the picture pointless

took the words right out of my mouth

The whole operation would be too stressful and with a little patience better pics can be accomplished in their actual tank

Just to clarify, the fish are going to be about the size of a pre-breeder angelfish max.

Would planting the tank help?

Just trying to see if this would work as the lights above my tanks are insufficient for the shutter speeds I'm set at.
Having a small tank with which I can place a smaller, more manageable light would help.

Still would think it would stress the fish out to much making picture taking pointless since the fish wouldnt look good at all, maybe try getting different lights?
