I use Nikon S210. Flash is set only when I become frustrated with my fish darting around while I take the pics and simply tamper with it to make it clearer than what it was. For non-flash mode, I'd get a black background and make sure the light is brightly litted. Of course, the setting does not capture fast movements so I have to make sure my fish doesn't move while I take the pics.lol
