Physical eye damage?

This bichir must have squeezed thru the tank divider because he was on one side and now he’s on the other and I didn’t place him there. Also his eye looks a bit scratched up. I figured I’d post it Incase it’s cloud eye since I can never tell the top apart

If it's both eyes, then I suspect water quality. Only one eye would point more towards injury. If it's an injury it could take a month for the cloudiness to go away.

Clean water and notify if one or both eyes. Postnur water parameters too.
