I 'm a newbie in using it my question is does it really suck water slow from a fish tank cause when I connected it on my kitchen sink which is a little over waist high, water from the tank drains slowly is it because of the height of the sink any advice? Thanks.

the lower you can get the end of the hose the better... its a gravity thing..
