I just picked up a new tank for my Pangasius. He is currently housed in a 4' square tank (about 200 gallons). His new tank is an 8' circular tank, which will give him 3.14 times the surface area, depth is about the same.

Hopefully this is the last tank I will need. I got the fish at 18" long as a rescue. I put him in a 4' square fiberglass tank I have, but he has since grown to about 24"!

Awesome!

Circular tanks are awesome for paddlefish too!!!

WOW good luck! Don't forget to post pics of your id shark when hes in there!

Just to the left of the trailer you can see a blue 55 gallon barrel and a pile of 1" thin-wall PVC (both freebies!). I've got a couple external pumps (800 & 1200 GPH). Somehow I'm going to cobble something together. I may use Hydroton media as I know where to get some for next to nothing. I may have to buy some polycarbonate for a lid, but I think I can get the whole thing going for well under $100.00 (the tank was $50.00 on craigslist).
