My jungle Val is making so much in my community tank. I got a grow light tube for my old school florescent light. I have been trying to get it to grow on some of my bog wood. At first had to tie it on but it looks like the roots are starting to grab.

I think you have narrow leaf java fern. Do you mean java fern? I’ve never seen jungle Val look like that.
Jungle Val roots need to be in substrate.
But they’re a few different type java fern that grow rhizomes attached to wood or rock.
