Pic request: Natural river bottom substrate....

Hope this is in the right forum but...

Can you guys with natural river bottom type substrate post pictures of your setup? Im planning on doing the state fair this year and I want it to look as natural as possible with a mixed sand and gravel (all size gravel) bottom.

Show me what yall got and if you can tell me how and why you did it with pros and cons!

No pic, but if you want a sandy type substrate, i'd say go up to really fine gravel instead, just because you won't have any problem with it going in filter, and it makes gravel vaccuming a little easier as each grain has enough to them not to fly everywhere.
