Yeah what is that about?? I set it up in the kitchen, then took it to the fish room. For reasons I wont go into, I wanted to open it back up and GOOD GRIEF! Did the bioballs become radioactive or what?! LolThe worst part was tryng to pop the top part of the can loose from the bottom part, I even remember wedging a table knife in there and twisting it sideways once
I originally tried to get the fx4 but it was sold out, so thats how I wound up ordering the fx2. When comparing the 2 I did read about that bottom drain on the fx4, but the I also read quite a few complaints mentioning issues with leaking from that drain. And the fx4 has a bottom drain which makes water changes a breeze, but I don't think it's on the FX 2...
Fx2 is fine. It'll keep a 75 gallon water clarity spotless. Plus when you do maintenance on them, they aren't as heavy as the other fx modelsI originally tried to get the fx4 but it was sold out, so thats how I wound up ordering the fx2. The top comes apart from the bottom really easy. When you unlatch the top just push down on the latches and it pushes the top up and separates it from the bottom. Alot of people obviously miss this.Yeah what is that about?? I set it up in the kitchen, then took it to the fish room. For reasons I wont go into, I wanted to open it back up and GOOD GRIEF!
