A few months ago, a BP at work got a big nasty zit on its face. A big ball of puss formed and it got bigger and bigger. I removed the fish and placed it on a wet towel. I used sterile tweezers and removed the puss, then soaked the fish in a strong mix of melafix water for an hour with an airstone. fish healed and sold.
NOW...my BP is doing the same thing. I'm not to risky with this one because it's my wifes favorite fish. This one is at the stage where the big ball of puss is hanging out. What should i do. be passive, add salt and wait or take action, remove the fish and do backyard surgery again?
