That's an endli a very nice looking one to. How big is he?

75 bucks he's about 12 or 13 inches long any info tips or advice I keep a variety of fish from all sizes but know very little about birchirs.

Bichirs are relatively easy to care for. A big rule is if it fits in it's mouth it will eventually become food. The is especially true for Lower Jaws such as endlicheri. They can eat a variety of things from fish fillets such as tilapia and catfish or you could feed pellets like massivore or NLS. Those are just some things people feed there is still other things like earthworms that you can feed. If you do a quick web search you would probably find some more things to feed. Another things to keep in mind is to not keep them with plecos. Plecos will suck the slime coat off of bichirs and will make them more susceptible to disease, fungus, and infections. Another thing to note is keep about 1-2" of air between the water and the top of the tank. Bichirs can and will jump out of the aquarium and this also allows them to come up for a breath of air without constantly hitting their head or not being able to. Those are somewhat the basics and there are probably some more tips and tricks you'll pick up on the way as you learn more about these guys. One last thing that most of us on here can agree on is they are addicting and you usually won't just end up with one.
