As of right now i have two tanks:

20g and a 29g (just got the 29g!!! super sweet deal)

I picked up the 29g because i couldn't wait any longer to have another tank! The reason for them being so small is because my apartment complex is really anal!

As soon as i move out of these apartments....3months....i will be getting either a 125g or 180g...i would also love to have a 55g in addition just for the heck of it lol!

Anyways what im really here to ask u guys is a stocking question for my two tanks:

current stock in the 20g:
Green Terror X2 (both around 1in)
Convict X2 (both shy of 1in)
Gold Severum X1 (prob 1.5 to 2in)
Blood Parrot X1 (1.5 to 2in) (probably going to get rid of though!)
Jaguar Cichlid X1 (shy of 1in)
Feather Fin Catfish X1 (1in)

Now that i have the 29g i would like to for sure move some of my guys around, but would also love to add a couple new additions. (of course whatever is added will be small)

what i would like to add is:
Tiger Oscar X1 (going in the 29g) (2in at the most)
Jack Dempsey X 1 or 2???? (not sure which tank prob 29g) (1.5in at the most)
Salvini X1 or 2???? (prob going in the 20g) (1in probably)

With this said please let me know who should go where and what u think of the new additions and numbers of them!!!!!!

PS. Again these guys will not be staying in these small aquariums long...no more than 3 months tops... but i love getting them when they are small!!

Thank u Guys!

The golden rule is to stock for what you have now, not what you will be getting. And you have plenty of fish for the 2 tanks you have. Set it up and spread them out.

I think i will probably take the blood parrot and featherfin back to the LFS...they aren't really what i was expecting and the parrot can be a real a-hole! With that said would it be reasonable to get a pair of either JDs or Salvini's? Is a 29g an ok size to start out a small (1.5in) Tiger Oscar by himself??
