So I picked him up from my LFS, he is only 2" an super cool. He's in my 60 gallon right now an is doing good. When he gets to big he will go I'm my bosses pond or a bigger tank. What should I feed him an what's growth rate for these guys?? I was told about 1" a month on average. I will post a pic tomorrow!!

Mine have failed to grow, they never seem to eat and are the most boring cats i've ever owned! enjoy yours

idk if fish can fail to grow... we can stunt their growth though. how long have you had yours? what size tank? what were you feeding him?

TSN have a pretty good growth rate, maybe an inch every two weeks. You should try to get him on pellets as soon as possible as this will save you a lot of money. First few days feed him small pieces of shrimp or small pieces of tilapia. Then, starve him for a week and see if he eats the pellets. Pellets should be sinking.

Easily expect 3-4" per month for the first 6 months if properly fed and good tank params. Id feed small worms, shrimp, tilapia, and ultimately get him to eat pellets, then size will be crazy. Just keep trying massivore until he takes it.
