well yesterday at my LFS, i went in the owner who i know very well has a very large stock of tiger oscars (black tigers, albinos, and reds) i was looking at buying his mating pair of texas jaguars that he had but the female didnt look to good so he showed me his fish that they didnt have room for at his house that weren't for sale but he said to me if i take two 6"-8" black tiger oscars he would give me the mating pair of red oscars which are his pets as long as i deal with him for fish. which i had no problem with because at the petsmarts around my area have bad fish lately most of them look like they have ich or something else.
so i now have 4 black tiger oscars, 2 albino tiger oscars, 2 red tiger oscars. ill have to get some pics for you guys to show you my pets. also i was told that the 2 red oscars are a breeding pair. he told me if i wanted to sell the fry he would buy all them off me or give me store credit, so i told him that would be pretty sweet and he said hes willing if i have enough money or store credit to order me a nice acrylic tank or a nice big glass tank.
what you think good deal or what? i mean i couldn't pass it up i feel bad for the other monster fish he has at his store because people just bring them in because they dont have room for them anymore. he has texas jaguars, oscars, red belly piranha's i mean he has a ton of monster fish.
once i get some pictures ill post them up on the thread for you guys to see im letting them settle in today but i got a couple of my black and albinos ill post up. sorry about the quality my iphone had a low battery after getting the albinos.
