Out of the bag he confronted every fish in the tank. Then he started getting chased and kind of simmered down a little. Now he seems comfortable in his new home. I hope he grows quickly to catch up to some of the other fish in the tank.

Thanks, yea sorry I posted in the wrong forum I realized too late and didn't want to re post it. I have a Red Bahia, 2 Pakistani yoyo loaches, 2 other african chiclids, a sun catfish, an upside down catfish, a red tail chalsius, 2 geophagus, a polytherus, 2 different plecos, sorry I don't know all of the exact types of fish but I'm a newbie. I've had this aquarium for many years but have had a company called Marine Scene handle all of the service and even supply some of the fish. I've decided to get more involved and joined this forum to learn from all of you. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute more soon. Here are some pictures of my set up and other fish.

You might have issues with stress in regards to the Africans, they will thrive better in a species only tank.. Kinda like this one...

Nice colors.

I am always hesitant on putting new arrivals in with my stock. Have had bad experiences in the past and with good sources. Mebbe I am just silly that way but still I keep a Q tank.

Great looking sunshine peacock. I noticed you have a Chalceus erythrurus. How long have you had him and is he the only one of his kind in the tank? Thank for sharing.

I've had the Chalceus for approximately 7 years now and it's the only one in the tank. I am picking up a 180 gal tomorrow and plan on moving some of my larger fish into it once it cycles. Thanks for the kind words
