Went to a reptile show yesterday and picked up a cuban night anole. He is about 16'', and has a bad attitude but he should come around with some handling. He has only bitten me once so far and hopefully it stays that way.

The coolest thing about him is how he can change colors so fast.

These aren't pics of my actual lizard, but it shows you what he looks like.

They are awesome animals. I wouldn't hold your breath on getting him accustomed to handling. They rarely calm down. Treat them like any other anole species or a chameleon; as a display animal only.

I probably will just keep him for display, since most lisards get stressed out from excess handling anyways. He is much better to look at than to hold.

:iagree: From what I've heard from many other reptile owners is that they can almost be compared to a tokay gecko just not as aggressive. They are very cool though congrats on the buy. What reptile show was it?

you should see how he works around strange color patterns.. like plaid or something..

It was the kalamazoo reptile and exotic animal show. http://www.kalamazooreptileshow.com/

Its not to big of a show but there are some good vendors with some interesting stuff.
