Picked up a pair of Australoheros "red ceibal" today...

I'd been eying some of these in the buy/sell forum, but the lfs had a large group so I went ahead and bought a pair. Don't know sex yet, are they big enough to sex? They're about 3" long.

Sorry for the crappy pics, they're all washed out from just being added to the tank.

And I believe so. I wasn't really paying attention to which pics I uploaded. But the second fish was much less spooked than the first, and was out in the open more. I'll take some more in a bit, now that they've calmed down some.

yep...quite likely a pair.

Might be a good idea to pick up a couple more anyways - sometimes "extras" make them bound better. But these guys might be rough on each other, although mine haven't been too bad.
 
nice conner! you are getting quite the collection. I was going to pick up a pair but SOMEONE ^^ let them get whooped on ;) j/k. but seriously, stop getting so many cool fish because it is making me feel a little jealous.
