Picked up a Petsmart "Red Texas" today.

I can't get a good pic of her (I'm assuming female black dorsal blotch) it hides above the powerhead. It's still little, not much color yet. I was wondering what's the best thing to feed them? Anything special, or the same as all my other fish(Hikari cichlid gold, bio gold, massivore, etc). Or is there something better. I'm new to hybrids, sorry if that's a stupid question.

Hikari gold is fine, i alternate between grand sumo and Hikari gold

This was one of mine that actually faded. Loved this guy very interactive. Unfortunately he passed.

I will try to take a pic every couple days/week and make an update thread on it. I'm not expecting anything spectacular, but you never know. Lol
