picked up a pike last week need ID

i picked up a pike last week, i think its a johanna. its about 6"

what do you think? its in a 125g with various cichlids right now.

Looks like a nice subadult johanna to me! great pike up!! Gonna be a looker as well! Noice!

Not at this size, gonna be a couple more inches before thats really possible. Females will get the white strip in their dorsal and sometimes the caudual fin as well. Another thing to look for is a pink to reddish belly......females generally have this more than males do.

Great looking juvie johanna! Mine is usually almost solid brown with red highlights unless he gets excited, then that black lateral stripe really pops out. Yours has great markings!
