About six months ago, I went to a local pet shop near my house. That’s not normally known for caring oddball fish but occasionally people surrender some very odd things I was told that a guy that does an aquarium cleaning service in the town that I live in was given this fish by a customer. I only paid 10 bucks for the way that I came across this little guy I was going to buy some food one time a guy that I usually talk to up there that is veryyy knowledgeable about mostly all fish told me he thinks that it’s a short body texas hybridized with a Kiren parrot kirens we’re a popular hybrid fish between 7 to 10 years ago. It is a blood parrot and flower horn bred to be a super short body fish. I’m not completely sure if that’s true though it could just be a very deformed Texas cichlid when I got him and he contracted very severe popeye and a weird bump on his head as you can see a friend of mine ended up taking him and was able to cure the Popeye and he grew a decent size nucal hump and he is apparently doing great these days !, If I can get some pics of him updated, I will definitely share them if anyone else on here has some super oddball fish like this feel free to share pictures of your own. I would love to see them!!
