So I picked this guy up from a great lfs by me today. He is in great shape. The only issue he has is a deformed upper lobe of his caudal fin. I will try to get better quality pictures of him!

I will try to get better pics tomorrow with the natural sunlight, it is so hard to get any good shots with my camera phone. You reallly think is a FATF? You are the pro on tigers. I will do my best to get some better pics.

To be fair, those are REALLY bad pics lol.

He looks to have red on the lower lobe of his tail only, which eliminates VATF and TATF. He's obviously not a GATF, so that leaves BATF and FATF. His head is too small and his body to thin to be BATF so that leaves forskahlii.

Higher quality pictures could change my opinion. They have before. Get as much lighting in the tank as you possibly can and have all the other lights off in the room. Its best to take pics at night, too. Get a real camera if you can; almost any real camera will be better than a cell phone camera.

Here's some pics of my FATF if it helps...

I agree they are really hard to get a pic of.Getting a camera at some point today. Anything in particular to look for when getting one if the main purpose of it is to take pics of fish? haha

If you want to get good pics of fish, you'll need a camera with a hot shoe. A hot shoe is the thing that let's you attach an external flash. DSLR cameras will be the easiest to find like this, but its possible to find regular point and shoot cameras with it.
