It was. They have them at 2 of my lfs right now. 3 albino and 1 black left.

Thanx. They're a PITA but yeah, cool enough to be worth it. He ate for me too. Within hours of being in his new home so im thinking he's gonna do alright.

It's not really an amphibian tho is it? There fully aquatic and being amphibious they would need to spend time on land as well? Forgive me if I'm wrong.

It is an amphibian in the same sense that a snake is a reptile.

Not much, do a water change here and there. they love worms ( night crawlers ), maybe get him a little cave to go into.

Make sure not to have a lot of iron in the water. I never had luck with mine eating pellets, he liked silver sides, shrimp, and worms.

honestly, its really easy animal.
