Picked up an endli

While I wait for the baby endlis to grow large enough to join the big boys, I picked up this 6" endli so I could have at least one endli to look at in the main tank.

Looking great, but how small are the other ones if they can't go in and a 6" can?

6" is still a risk don't get me wrong, but less of a risk than the 4"ers.

I have gar and bass in there too that I'm worried about.

Nice endli. I have a small guy in my big tank growing out with the big boys lol. The ansorgii/endli hybrid is about 10".

Thanks! I love his stripes too. It's the main reason I picked it up. My tank has a bunch of driftwood in the center so the endli has plenty of hiding spots away from the the big fish if they decide to munch on him. He comes out from time to time and is getting bigger.

They put on an inch a month in the first year so yeah they kinda grow right in front of you.

The endli was super skinny and small when I first picked him up about a month and 2 weeks ago. It looked like a worm lol. The lfs doesn't take care or feed them at all. He's probably doubled in size. My friend bought one from the same batch 2 months before me and its already 7".
