I picked up a 125g. I want ps in it but only p's i can find are rbp's.
Should i get 4" wild ps for 30$ each or should i get 1" ps (not wild) for 10$ each?

Witch should i get and how many should i get?

Should i start with many and and take 1 and 1 out as they grow?

Do you really see that much difference on the looks of wild and not wild? I mean are the wild ones much nicer or do the cb ones colour up just as well?

Need answers asap!

Why can't people make their own descisions? Don't understand it. (Not you in particular, just a rash of 'tell me what to do with MY fish/tanks' )

Buy the smaller ones, and buy a dozen of them. (grow them out and sell some off as they get much larger)
Pump the temperature up to 78-82. Lots of oxygen is appreciated.
Put a dim light over the tank, and cover the sides and back.
Lots of hiding spots/

You'll want a lot of water movement, and as much filtration as possible. (think four aquaclear 110, or something overpowered.

do which ever your most comfy with,

personally i would buy more of the cheaper ones as some "might" die an once grown there all the same anyway

i origonally bought 3 rbps i now have 9 there beatuiful fish to watch when they colour up

Will Hayward: I can easily make my own decisions, i just dont know that much about p's, i was just wondering if the wild ones would colour up MUCH more or just the same.
Ill go with dozen of the smaller ones.

How many fullgrown p's can i keep in that tank?

How long is the tank?6' would be best

Probably about six, maybe 8, but you'll need more when they are smaller. As they grow larger you can select the nicest ones to keep and sell off any that become runts, injured or less coloured.

Go with 6 of the WILD ones for Life AKA SUPER REDS .
IMO If it were up to me .

And I dont think you are in the wrong for asking . After all that is what we are here for :) I would want to know what would be the coolest show to watch when it comes to feeding or what ever exc......

The main point of a forum like this is to receive advice from other people. You seem so irritated with this thread, yet you give your advice anyways:screwy:

a dozen is not a good idea if you are looking to keep them in their for life.... fish grow. i agree with 6 thats a good number i like to keep them in odd numbers so i would only put 5 but thats just me and there is no evidence that support my odd number theory. lol and wild p's are the way to go.
