Been a while since I had one. I saw a wicked deal on one so I picked it up. Had it a few weeks as I wanted to be sure it was eating as it was a fresh import. Eating fillets right now. Pics are from right after I put it in the tank. It hides a lot so I cant get good pics yet.

Nice tiggie! It's unusual that it hides. What's a wicked deal? $100? :D

Thanks damn near I think I paid $140-150 or something close and solid 4". Idk it was way less then normal around here. I have kinda stopped paying too close attention to the costs of my fish these days. If I added it up id go crazy...lol...

It hides when the light is on. I have several drift wood hideouts in the tank it is in. Basically sits right where my other one did. Same wood from when I had the other one.

Haha, that's funny... well actually could be wise too in a way...

$150-$200 has started to be a rough going price last season, it appears to me. A lot of vendors would offer tigs at that price while indeed many others would still price them at $250-$300 that they had been for what seems like a decade.

More so since I know I am already well into the 4th decimal place this year...lol... Without rays...lol

Here we don't see them below 250. That is for 2-3" fish also. Especially since I know some of the wholesale prices are 200 currently for 3" fish. So for no shipping to be tossed in and the next cheapest I was offered was 200 I didnt think about it I just got it.

I changed the one lay down log I had it would hide under into a standing log. We will see how more active it becomes.
