Picked up another pyxie frog 10-29-07

Finally gave in so went to Petco and picked up this little one. He/she has already taken down half a dozen lobster roaches, pretty sure it would of eaten more if I allow it. Don't want to feed it too much yet since it looked a little on the thin side.

This one here, it looks kinda beaky...hope it's not an early sign of MBD.

Petsmart has one that has a totally different profile from this one. This one is more slender and lengthy while the one at Petsmart is more rounded and compact build. I'll pickup that one next week or so if it's still there just to increase my chances of getting one more of each sex.

NIce ! I was really tempted to buy 2 more babies yesterday, but I resisted! I really want a male to go with my female so I can have a "skinny and tiny" pair! I think I might just break down and get them? Good luck with the little pixie!

At this point I don't really mind if it turns out to be female or male. If it turns out to be a female, I'm going to keep it with Tiny. But if it's a male I'll just keep it by itself or maybe with Skinny once it puts on enough size.


I would pick them up and hope that one's a male. Male's a totally amazing compared with females, it's almost like night and day.

I will be satisfied with just one male frog! I think the females are great too, my ideal would be at least one large male and id be cool with having 2 or 3 females for him, I just want at least one giant male pixie!

I knew it, today I went and picked up the 2 pixies I had my eye on. Now I am just going to keep my fingers crossed and hope that at least one turns out to be male!
