picked up my first knifefish today

went to the LFS today and came home with my first knifefish today. went in for some different catfish and i came lout with him.. he is great love the personality.. cant wait until he starts to get some decent size on him. right now he is about 5 inches or so.

Very cool! These are my favorite fish. They like to hide a bit, but when they get big...they don't have a reason to hide anymore.

hes been out for a good part of the day. but i have alot of driftwood and fake plants in the tank so he has plenty of cover. hopefully he wont be to shy..

these are one of my favorite fish.. took me a while to get one though

i have 2 big ones in my tank, they are always out. when they are smaller they tend to hide alot

Nice, lots of spots! Ones I've been seeing recently are a bit dull with few spots, that's a good one.
