heres a pic the owner said the fish came in as p.endlichirii one of his employees said he thinks its p.e,congus what do you guys and gals think?
this way i know what to cross from my wish list, this thing has some sweet markings

That's a polypterus endlicheri endlicher not polypterus endlichri congicus. Nice marking on that endli!

it is definitely a Polypterus endlicheri endlicherii ... a Polypterus endlicheri congicus looks like this:

Congicus has well-defined saddle stripes and never those longitudinal markings as yours. Although your specimen is young (with external gills) both species are definitels recognizable.
