That pike is crazy mean!! Attacks feeders like a mad man!! Ate three in seconds!! Sweet open water fish. Doesn't hide like the payara

Love these fish! Mine was an absolute terror - killed a couple gars as well as a fellow tiger pike (O originally bought 2). He also beat the crap out of my tiger fish when I had them housed together briefly.
Mine's pushing 16+" now, and he's mellowed out a lot. He even tolerates 2 gars as tankmates now. Good luck with yours! They're really awesome fish, and much better suited to the aquarium than the African Tigerfish seem to be.
I've never really fed mine live, but I'd love to see a feeding video of yours if you feel like posting.
