i have been keeping an eye on him at my LFS for a couple of weeks.....I put him in my growout tank for now. Its about 5" and ate 5 feeders the moment it hit the tank! He looks stuffed! Looks like a nice pattern on him.....are all Delhezi wild caught?

I only do feeders in this tank.....contains a Tat and an AT.....trying to boost size quick to step them up to my larger tank. All will eat krill and silversides except the Payara. It will learn quick when big enough from the good teachers in the big tank!!

Freaking sweet! Where the hell id you get a payara? I heard they die in captivity very quickly, I might be wrong. I wish I had a tank big enough for a Temensis :(

I have heard Scombs die suddenly......Tats are the ones you want to get.....they stay smallish and seem hardy!

Wow, that's a gorgeous fish! Congrats Ken!

Nice fish!

I thought you cannot get them anywhere. I have seen Sturgeon for sale in 2 South Florida shops though. Payaras are really exotic, damn. I wish I had the peacock bass I caught in FL in my tank.

very nice pickup. why are you feeding them just live food? Live doesn't necessarily make them grow faster, simply feeding them a lot will do that. Live food just makes them VERY aggressive, but it's also really bad for most fish. I never really fed my bichirs live food, it was always a very, very rare treat. Ghost shrimp however....THOSE are phenomenal live foods.
