you might be better off leaveing the lights off for a while while it settles in.
did you see it feed, or did they tell you it was feeding? and what on.
i see these tiny retics everywere and lots of them in worse condition then yours is.

try not to bother it to much with camera flashes ect, just leave him alone till he settles.
frozen blood worm, chopped or very small whole earthworms, chopped prawn, chopped mussel and even hikari sinking carnivor pellets.
remember his mouth is tiny so he needs small food.
and the most important thing now your a ray keeper, keep your water perfect! lots of water changes and regular testing wont hurt.
he is tiny now but as he grows and eats huge amounts he will mess up your water quicker then anyother fish.
ps, make sure you get the food past them barbs! and feed him till he carnt eat no more 3 or 4 time aday.
