I spotted these at an LFS last week and decided to stop by again today to pick them up. :)

These pics were taking right after they entered the tank:

Their blue still isn't as vibrant as my EBJD's but they look good on their own.

It depends on the jack dempseys. Before, I kept my 8" EBJD with a big black angelfish, and a marble angelfish, and they did fine together.

Each fish is unique so I just have to see if the combo is gonna work out or not.
 
That's what I figured. You are lucky that you can try these things out (I am assuming you have multiple tanks). I think together these fish would look amazing since both are bluish. Someone who does not know fish well enough might mistake these for salt water set up :)

My family came over the other day for a visit and they asked if it was fresh or saltwater lol

I only have this tank, but I'm getting a 40g tomorrow and setting it up right away.

I also have dividers in case I needed to separate the dempseys, but luckily, they don't mind the angels.... so far.
