So i've been looking at grass/redfin pickerel for awhile(along with warmouth) and i have been wondering if a pickerel would be compatible with 2 male longear sunfish?

It will depend in part on the individual personalities of the fish involved, but I would caution against it. Longears tend to be fairly active, aggressively-feeding, moderately territorial sunnies. Pickerels do not appreciate this kind of fish.

I suggest you decide which is more important to you- pickerel or sunnies- and go forward accordingly. Pickerel are best kept alone. Sunnies are better suited for a multi-species setup. I have longears in a 330 with several other sunfish species, rock bass, studfish, madtoms, and several minnow species. I wouldn't put pickerel in that tank.

Thank you for the info, I guess i'll be going with the warmouth then.:D
