Pickerel, You So Fine

My juvy pickerel decided to pose for pics this morning. He has just gone through 4 days of antibiotics for fin rot, you can see where it ate the bottom of his tail. Can anyone tell me if the worst is over or if I should continue treatment? I have no idea how to tell when to stop treating the tank.
