i never liked the wolf fish because they didnt move but along time ago on here i heard people talking about how active the gold one was. got a chance to pick up a 7 incher today for 20 bucks. he is all over the tank swimming. i just changed my filters in the tank so its cloudy right now. hopefully in a couple hrs its back to clear and i can get some nice pics

Its that a Red Fin Wolf Fish? I have a place that has some in stock now. They also have wild caught wolf fish, which I'm considering but if the red tail is much more active it may sway me.
thanks for the replies. that is a gold wolf fish and the feeders are little minnows from my local creek. i go down there with a net and catch about 500 in 5 mins. been doing it for yrs in the summer and they last about 1 week before i go get more. minnows and shrimp in the summer and shrimp and tilapia fillets in the winter.
