Picking up a 150g this Sunday!!!!

I was browsing craigslist and I saw an ad that said 150g fish tank $350 I was curious so I click on it and it said "Will trade for Xbox 360 with some goodies" And I was like awww hell nahhh, This is too easy it can't be true so I grab my phone and text the guy and he says he still has it and I was stoked. Still waiting to see what his wife says about it tho, He says he needs permission from his wife first lol. Anways he said he can most likely do it since he is not using it anymore and it's taking up space. I'm pretty excited since now I get to join the big boys in fish keeping now lol. :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2
 
yeah i just got a 180 on CL for $150....guy thought it was a 125 lol full set up
 
Oh Yeah, I'm having the best luck now, Just called my LFS and they have 7" Silver Aro's for 20.00 I was on that so fast, I reserved it and I'm picking it up Saturday. I'm keeping it in my 30g alone until I set up the 150g!!! I'm so friggin happy!!!

I think you should wait to get the aro until the 150 is set up! Poor little guy can't be in a 30gal. :( Also not to be a pest but you are going to need a tank upgrade in about 6months if you are going to keep an arowana. To put it in prospective for you: We got ours at about 5". He grew to about 16" in about 3-4 months. Not exaggerating at all. They grow fast and need a wide tank to turn around in because they are long fish.

On the down side there are tons of garbage ads and ads put on by idiots...theres a guy selling a 70 gallon with heater and HOB for 400, and plenty more examples like that.

I got this fish so I could get more money for a better fish lol and he will only be in the 30g for 1 week tops.
