I'm picking up some Scarlet Badis for my 20g tomorrow... I'm going with 6, as I heard they can be territorial and should have 3g per fish.
Aside from feeding frozen/live food, does anyone know much about these fish? They are beautiful and look like tiny cichlids to me, but it seems like there isn't much information on them; taxonomically, it looks like people are unsure (Dario dario or Badis bengalensis?).
I'm guessing these don't have the same ability as the chameleon fish - changing colors when they confront other males?
I'll get some pictures... until then, I'm gonna keep reading about these guys...
