I have a small brown banded bamboo shark roughly 9 inches and the only thing he will eat is live earthworms, he has been in my tank since may of 09, he appears healthy and eats every other day, but I cannot get him to eat anything else, his tankmate a 14 inch brown banded bamboo eats anything I offer. I feed a variety of krill, whole squid, and silversides. When I offer these to the small shark he acts as though he has no interest at all. I use a feeding tongs to feed them both, I think the problem is he only wants live food. basically my question is what other foods would you suggest, or possibly live food? my goal is to get him to eat frozen foods so i can supplement vitamins for him.

Salmon. It should do the trick.
Squid next.

If those don't work, PM me and I'll cut you in on my super top secret shark meal that you can make at home. I have yet to see it fail.

Yummy on crackers too. :naughty:

How come I don't get that recipe?! That's it, cook off.

But yea, salmon is often referred to (at least in our line) as "candy", boneless, fresh cuts are an ultimate temptation, and pretty much always illicit a response. You can see if he reacts to a metabolic stimulent such as garlic as well. Sometimes for the picky ones who only want live prey, you can throw in a few ghost shrip - to make sure he's actually interested in food, and not just snubbing his nose because of some underlying condition. If he is def interested, then at least you know he's just a snob lol. And thennnnn you can use Matt's super-secret-squirrel recipe... lol.
Supplementing with vitamins is also key, especially with these guys, prone to goiters.

Slurry of Salmon, Scallops, Squid and B12.
Works everytime.

Thanks for the information I will give salmon a try for sure, I was really surprised when he didn't eat the squid ,he is definitely interested in the food until he realizes it is not alive them shows no interest. hopefully salmon will do the trick, and I supplement all my sharks and rays food with mazuri shark tabs.
