I have six Cichla in my 180 grow out tank. 2x Tems,2x Azuls,1Kel Bahia and 1 Rio meta Orino. Four of my fish eat Hakari Food sticks. But one of my Azuls and my Orino refuse to eat pellets and prefer krill. Should I starve them to force them to eat pellets or give in and feed them krill?

If they are nice and healthy i would stop on the krill for a week or two and see if they go for the pellets. They usually learn from the other bass.

They are healthy. It's been a week since they last ate Krill. I will give them another week to switch over to pellets.

Ive had Tems, mono's, azuls, Orinos, ocells, pinima, kelberis and a xingu which I got to go on massivore... I've only had one kelberi that wouldn't break so the chance it won't is still there. Just keep trying... It takes time

Thats normal. Sometimes they just get tired of the taste or just dont like it at all. I give different stuff to my fish all the time so they dont get tired of it.

Steveo I agree! I had a 4 pack of thick 7'' Kels that were wimps too! The were skittish as hell and only ate when wasn't around. I think in breeding is probably the blame . My Kel in my tank now is a beast but his tail is a little smaller than normal.

Yeah I got my kels from a local breeder. Not his fault, but they suck. Probably getting rid of them.
