My new EBJD will not eat anything I give him except brine shrimp... At first I thought it may be parasites but I don't know since he eats brine shrimp. He does have what look like spasms where he just kinda goes crazy for a couple seconds while swimming, but I don't know if that means anything... Is he just being picky or is something wrong? I want to get him to eat peas so he doesn't get constipated off of only eating bring shrimp (I have only fed him brine shrimp 3 times in the past 2 weeks). I was thinking of either starving him to eat peas or like mixing the peas with brine shrimp, maybe some garlic, and gelatin.... Any ideas? Thanks!

hehe spasm is not normal.
From my experience fishes with parasites will still eat live or frozen foods, just not much interested in pellets.
I remember reading something about EBJDs being sensitive to being moved to new conditions/tanks.

Usually takes about a week or two before fishes start eating again after treatment.
As long as it's eating brine shrimps it should be fine just slowly introduce it to pellets.
