It seems like all my fish will eat is NLS Pellets. I even tried krill today and they would not touch it. I have a midas, jag, escondido and argentea. Are these fish usually picky eaters.
I have a 125 with a Jag, RTxTSN, 3 senegal bichirs, and an ornate bichir- for the longest time my fish would only eat specific things...
My Jag and senegals would only eat massivore- my RTxTSN would only eat market shrimp, and my ornate would only eat raw silversides... I got tired of the dirty water and the every day water changes, and them not wanting to eat anything else..
So I didn't feed them for a week- then I dropped in some of Ken's Shrimp pellets... they didn't take to them at first, and now I think they like them more than massivore!
In all honesty, they will eat what's available when they are hungry. That's how I look at it.
At least they are stuck on a quality pellet. With that type of staple food they are getting a diet full of the things that they need to grow healthy. Most people have the opposite problem where their fish will only take live. If they will only take Krill, Blood Worms, or other live foods as occasional treats, they should be fine.
