Hi all, i have a Frontosa about 2 months now It about 3-4inch
But I found it's difficult to feed him/her pellet
I have try few different type of pellet like hikari or NLS
But he always put into the mouth and then spilt it out again, didnt show any interest on pellet at all either I try floating or sinking pellet
Any idea what should I do to let him eat?? bloodworm or krill he seem ok with that ,but I can't feed those everyday, it's make water dirt very quick
And please see the photo and tell me is he too skinny???
Please help !!!!

I would stop feeding the krill and Blood worms until the Frontosa starts to eat the pellets. Btw the Frontosa looks great.

Try soaking the pellets in water beforehand to soften them. I also soak mine in garlic extract and vita-chem.

They can go a while without food...but only feed pellets (most pellets have krill) and he will eventually eat them. Garlic guard would be great cause they go crazy for that stuff. Vacuum out what he doesn't eat. Make sure he's not bullied and has good water quality and your set. Oh yeah, and get him a 6-8 foot tank lol. Or when he outgrows the tank you can trade him in for another little guy to grow out :) I used to grow some Mobas out in a 90 and sell them for a great deal more than what I paid for them. They take a while to mature. Cool fish though.

My frontosas get NLS or North Fin. Unless the pellet is too big they should eventually get eaten by that fish.
