I was just wondering what I could feed a picky 6" peacock bass. I have Tried so many different pellets and Frozen foods and I can't seem to get him to eat any of it. The only things he will eat now are Freeze Dried Krill and live feeders ( I don't like feeding live because of diseases) I have also tried putting pellets into the freeze dried krill but he notices and just spits out the pellet. he used to eat frozen brine shrimp/ bloodworms when he was a baby but now he doesn't even notice them. I have also tried thawed shrimp and tilapia. but he always spits it out like its too hard for him to chew or something. Help! I need to vary his diet up.

Crush pellet you want to feed him into a powder lightly coat wet krill with it slowly add more powder onto krill once he smashing heavily powder coated krill then crush pellet in to less of a powder more clumps and coat wet krill with clumpy pellet continue to grow size of clumps then start to try pellets and krill together maybe soften pellets in tank water before feeding.

What cigars said. It can also help to try market shrimp in front of a powerhead. When I have a picky bass that’s usually the first thing they’ll hit.
