Picky Retics!

We have 2 5 inch retic stingrays and all i seem to beable to get them to eat is earthworms and bloodworm, ive tried chopped prawn, mussel, cockle and mysis shrimp but they wont have none of it, has anyone got any suggestions please on what i could try

Dont feed them for 2 or 3 days and then try again...

Or put some worms with some other food in a glas with a little water.. this way the flavor wil mix...

would it work if i mixed in some high protein powder with the bloodworm?

sjick is right , i would cut up some crawlers and mix it up in a glass then only feed what u want the to eat. try raw frozen shrimp , let the shrimp thaw before the mix. i dont mix water in but let it sit for 5 min. and the blood from the crawlers is key.

Yeah, and dont give up the first time.. it might take awhile before your rays accept the new food... but dont starve them to long..

I just started mixing frozen krill with mines regular food, and when it started eating that I started mixing shrimp, then smelt. Now he'll eat anything.
