so i have this 3 gallon and want to convert it to salt
it came with and air pump
could i substitute a powerhead with that? because it creates
a pretty strong current
and the lighting keeps it heated
but idk if it will be enough for the coral.
anyone got any ideas?

Unless you plan on leaving the light on 24/7 you should invest in a heater. As for the bubbles, expect a lot of salt creep but that should be fine I would think for current.

air bubbles can cause a nitrate spikes, i don't see many people with tank's under 10g so i wouldn't know what to do about flow

You could use it to keep some shrimps..

All you need is some sand and live rock.. the sponge filter will work fine..

Im currently using it in a 12x6x7 tank.. with just some shrimp and rocks..no lighting..

I think a 3g wld be rlly hard to keep ok in salt parameters and stuff
