PICS!! Added 3M black sand. Will it darken my flower ray?

Terrible pics but these are right after the sand went in. I am hoping that within a couple days she darkens up will update thread tomorrow as well to see if the color changes

Personally i believe flowers become much darker with maturity,that fish looks subadult,having said that i would assume it will darken with the addition of the darker substrate but not significantly so......nice looking fish,well bodied!

Agreed. IME that is the conclusion I have come to. They still look best on black sand though.
