so I will tell you Hailey Barry's story
so when my skink died I got a refund so I decided to get this little girl who was in pretty bad shape, the pet shop I got her from loves their animals but in this case it was just a shame
so they had two AFT one male and one female the male was a lot bigger than her and when they first got them she was beat up bad, she had the end of her tail bitten off and her eye was damaged so she was not in good condition at all and to top it all off the male had mated with her so she had laid multiple eggs some fertile some not but over all she laid about ten eggs
with AFT when they lay eggs it takes a lot out of them so she was already small then this and she still had to compete with the male for food so over all she was real small
so when I got her home I raised the humidity and fed her lots of crix and mealies within a week she had shed and had gained a noticeable amount of weight so two weeks later on thursday there was a blizzard so exams and school were cancelled. so I decided to check on my little lady at about 12 and then noticed something in her humid hide.... an egg!!!!!!
to my surprise there it was a fertile egg so within the hour I had an incubator up and the egg has since hardened and has been at a consistant 82 degrees since
also since she laid the egg she eat 5 very large crix and seems to be a lot more skittish which I like as she was a little too docile for a one eyed little lady
